Ways to treat Skin Allergy

We often suffer from skin allergies such as eczema, rashes, itching of skin, white spots, etc. They are caused by different reasons so, be careful before it becomes a major issue. Following are some of the tips that you can follow if you are tired from these type of skin allergies.

1) Avoid Daily products that may cause allergies:

Contact dermatitis is a reaction that appears when the skin comes in contact with an irritant or an allergen. Symptoms can include a rash, blisters, itching and burning.         Soaps, laundry detergents, fabric softeners, shampoos — or even excessive exposure to water —  all can cause contact dermatitis. But, sometimes an allergen won’t cause a skin reaction unless the skin is also exposed to sunlight. This condition is called photo allergic contact dermatitis. It can occur with products such as shaving lotion, sunscreen and some perfumes that you are using.

2) Medicinal Plants And Herbs (Aloe Vera, Neem, Basil, Calendula, Coriander):

Many plants are known for their antibacterial, anti-fungal and anti-irritant properties, making them excellent choices to deal with allergies. You can buy good quality calendula oil and apply it for a few hours on the affected area that gives you some relief. The fleshy, gel-like portion from a fresh aloe Vera leaf could also be used as a soothing salve. To use neem, basil and coriander leaves, you can make a paste by grinding these together and then applying it on the affected part. Leave the paste on for an hour or so and then rinse it with plain water. So, use this herbs and be cured by such skin allergies.

3) Go Basic with these types of allergies:

Inflamed and irritated skin is especially sensitive to topical treatments. Put away your serums and peels for a few days and pare down your routine to avoid damaging your skin. Use a super gentle cleanser and moisturizer like Cetaphil. Once your skin is completely healed, you can begin using your regular products.

4) Give it Time to cure:

Unfortunately, while rashes may seem to pop up in an instant, they do take some time to heal completely. If you are in extreme discomfort or don’t experience full relief in 3- 5 days, it’s time to see an skin specialist for more serious anti-inflammatory measures.But,it takes some time to cure. So, be patient while treating such skin allergies.
